Stone Automation brings Taglio’s high precision slab scanners to the UK & Ireland to help fabricators master complex veined materials
Stone Automation Ltd is proud to announce it has agreed a distribution partnership with Taglio Group with immediate effect. Taglio has more than 40 years of experience in developing technology, software and solutions for industrial businesses that specialise in highly accurate, efficient and qualitative cutting, modelling and sculpting. They supply slab scanners and software to the stone fabrication industry, as well as software to the glass fabrication industry.
The Slabvision scanners come in two formats; the SV 4022 is a stand-alone vertical scanner and the SV i21 is a horizontal scanner designed to fit into a production line. Both scanners offer extremely high-resolution scans with Taglio’s 128 mega pixel camera system, a proprietary LED lighting system which reveals the full patterning and detail in each slab even on bright white and very deep blacks, and easy to use software and interfaces.
Stone Automation founder Salvatore Caruso said, “In the last few years, the design world has shifted significantly toward natural stone and natural patterning.
