The Leica Geosystems iCON iCS50 robotic templating tool has been an incredible success. When we started distributing Leica Geosystems digital templating tools, we knew that many fabricators would make the switch from physical correx, paper or wood templates to the Leica iCS50. But what we did not expect was the volume of other fabricators who were already using digital templating tools to swap to it from their existing wire- and laser-based systems.
Those wire- and laser-based systems often come with good software and some loyal customer bases, but for many users, the combination of a laser and the Leica wireless vPEN has proved too compelling to ignore. The flexibility that the wireless vPen affords uders along with the speed and, most importantly, accuracy is hard to beat.
We used to order the Leica iCS50 and vPen one at a time. Then it became five at a time. Now we’re taking delivery of 15 at a time.
